Beginning in the Spring of 2020, the world experienced a pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. At this time people were asked to quarantine themselves to prevent the spread of the virus.
Unable to make images out in the world, I resorted to creating images in my studio. I thought about how people make stuff whether it is food or crafts. People work with their hands to make these things. In many instances hand tools are part of this activity.
